What is a Social Media Strategy and do I need one?

The key is to create content that is engaging, informative, and relevant to your audience. Hint: start asking them what they want to see and what they want to gain from your accounts etc. 

Social media is also a great way to build your community and find your people! Once you have them, engage with them. This means responding to comments and messages, asking for feedback, and running contests are all ways to build a relationship with your followers.
